New GP's, OLD injectors, some nailing..shudder on cold starts?

79 300D. 212K. After sitting overnight, when I start it it shudders a few times..like not all cylinders are firing up. Then it goes away.
Injectors? I am due for a valve adjustment.

valve adjustment first.
Injectors mybe; IP timing maybe.

I keep posting this pic/s; the stock Bosch Nozzles have a hole drilled down the center of the Pintle tip and another hole drilled acrossedl. On my origional Injectors and all most all I have pulled from the Junk Yard those holes are plugged with Carbon. During Idle and low fuel injected quanities the fuel is supposed to be injected out of the central hole.

Doing a Purge may help but not guarented.
To clean them yourself you need to take each Injector apart (individualy so as not to mix parts with another Injector) and use the proper sized wires to pick out the carbon as per the FSM or an Ultrasonic Tank might also clean the Carbon out.

ditto

valves first.

injectors afterward.
bad injectors will cause heavy nailing at acceleration.

My vote is air leaking into the lines. I have the same problems, and it purrs like a kitten when warm, seems like it should have more power though. I think the air is getting in somewhere, runs it through, then is ok afterwards.
