My turn My turn...

Car listings that state the NADA/bluebook value then tell you how great it is that this car is priced soooo much lower. I couldn't give two poops about what some book says the car is worth. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay. And I am not willing to pay bluebook for any car.

And whats up with the diesel prices at gas stations? I can find upwards of 70-80 cents per gallon price difference between stations. A couple of stations around me right now are that far apart on prices and about 1 mile away from each other. Both on busy streets.

It pays to shop around for diesel. I have 2 favorite stations around here right now.

My pet peeve are speed limits. Why have them if you're a safe minded driver? All they're really for are to cause inconvenience and revenue for law enforcement.

I actually have a few:

Pulling up to a Diesel pump and a gasser cuts right infront and gets it. Get's out of the car and does god knows what for like 10 minutes before actually pumping gasoline.

When my friends always want to take their cars for everything (1989 BMW 325is and 1995 Jaguar Xj6) It makes me feel like my car isn't good enough and it really gets on my nerves when they always assume I want to ride in their cars. Especially, because i'm 6'2 and don't fit well in both of them.

Passing by a Prius that says "LVMYMPG"

People freaking out while you're getting up to speed, I just want to go up to them and be like "wow you have to go slow for like 5 seconds out of your life, get over it" and then they can't take it anymore and pass you sounding like their engine is going to explode.

Everyone telling me I should get a Europlate for my 220 :/

Putting in Diesel and noticing it's all over my hand lol

OVP relay

Any problem a car has is diagnosed as the fault of the OVP relay.

Pet Peeve - Finally finding a FULL SERVICE STATION!!!!!!!!!! going to get some food while the attendant fills it up- paying for the FUEL- driving 200 metres only to have the engine go way over full throttle- and finally to be told he did not realise the rattling sound when you pulled up in the driveway meant it was a DIESEL!!!!!!!!!

Mine is that BP stations have green colored handles for gas and black ones for diesel. I think all others have thier handles for diesel as green. I almost filled up with gas at a BP last week. I hadn't used BP before for diesel. I kept pushing the diesel button and the pump wouldn't work. I caught my error though.

OK, it's not really a "diesel" pet peeve...

>What is your diesel pet peeve?
>Mine is the word "gas"
>It's FUEL folks!
>It's not a gas pedal, it's an Accelerator!
>You fill it up the FUEL tank with FUEL, not gas!
>Your driving a diesel, so don't put a gas in the tank! Come on folks get with the program!

Mine is people who incorrectly use "your" when they should use the contraction "you're".

Rgds,
Chris W.

Yeah it annoys me when Im talking about diesel and people call it gas, or ask if my SL-C is a diesel. Or when they think just because you have a mercedes you ar a snob (I get that a lot, "ohhhh he has a Mercedes") Or when someone says "nice BMW or volvo, and seriously thinks that the MB is one of the aforementioned brands.

Rgds,
Chris W.

Let us not forget the people who cannot tell the difference between "it's" meaning: "it is" and "its" meaning : of it, belonging to it.
