not a lot of work, probably an Eribuni hood. they dont offer them anymore, I love it. If I could find an SEC hood and grill I would do it too

I do not like stuff like that...looks too much like a GMC truck that someone added the Cadillac Escalade grill to.

So is that a fiberglass front end?

There is a 85 SEC in the LKQ U Pull IT in the Columbia yard here in Portland, OR. the body is in great shape if any one is interested.

the grill would look better with out the center star and just the black .

It isn`t like the car has been hacked and cobbled together, the 123 sheet metal can be reinstalled.

I think it's looks pretty darn good! I don't detect any fit problems in the pictures shown but a front 3/4 view would be nice to see the whole effect of the conversion.

sexxxay! I'd like use of the foglamps though. Your average person wouldnt see the modifications though and think it was a custom job. Thats the first like it that Ive seen.

Unique, but I would want my fog lights. That would mean someone would probably have to retrofit the US spec W116 fog lights onto the front bumper or find a creative way to put SEC fog lights in the front air dam.

Im guessing due to the poor edge at the fender line and the color mismatch it is the Eribuni fiberglass peice. I had a chance to order one but decided to wait and now they dont make them any more.

darn I wish you were closer. I have been watching for an SEC in the PNPs here for a long time. The grill is always the first to go but both I have seen were damaged in the front beyond making the hood appealing to try to modify

Yeah I guess I could pull the hood and fenders and tie them on the roof of the 300D, look like some Red Neck Okie heading back to calif.

The grill has been removed. too bad it made it to the JY. seats are shot and dash cracked, but the body looked perfect.

I have seen 3 SEC`s this past year.

The feller got back to me and says he still has the original cd hood, so i guess it's not quite the hack job that i figured. Still, I think covering up a perfectly good set of euro headlights is a bit weird. He also mentioned they'd let it go cheap, and as i had offered a grand, tongue in cheek, i wonder how low he'd go? What d'you guys reckon would be a reasonable price? Note chrome trim strips on wheelwells. Hiding rust maybe?

Lord knows I've fantasized about a cd to round out the fleet...

I just saw one exactly like that, different color, on craigslist. I think the ad is gone now.
