lost turbo

OK, I replaced the Shutoff control with no difficulty. I did remove the air intake, and the idle plug but didn't touch the ALDA. The shutoff control works fine now but I have no turbo. I have read over the threads on what others have done and have a few specific questions.

When removing the intake manifold, I had to unplug what I assume is the airflow sensor. I plugged it back in with no problems. I also had to unplug some of the vacuum lines but they are back in the same place.

What do I do now? Can I use the mitivac to try to engage the wastegate at idle? Is that necessary to see if I am getting vacuum to the wastegate? What are some other options.

Check the hard lines between the banjo bolt, switch over valve and ALDA. I did some work on my car and ended up snapping one of the hardlines. They have since been replaced. Also check the rubber connectors on the switchover valve. I had one rupture while on the highway. Sudden loss of turbo boost is not good while trying to get on the interstate.

As far as I can see, the hard lines are intact I did break one but have used a small vacuum line as a coupling. the hard line to the wastegate had a zip-tie close to the engine connection. I replaced that to assure a tight connection. I am not familiar with the banjo bolt. Do you have a description?

I did some more testing and the turbo kicks in when out of gear. Under load it will not kick in.
