05 CDI engine in a 95 chassis?
The 606.910 in my 95 has a ton of shrapnel in its blood from a vaccum pump explosion.
Local fella has a 05 CDI engine for sale. Will it physically fit, and how much issue is the electronic interface? I beleive the engine is complete w/harness. |

How many miles were on the car when the vacuum pump grenaded?

That would be a sweet setup, but likely a ton of work.
However, a forum member managed to get a M120 V12 into a R107 560SL....so anything is possible!

The engine would probably fit into the W124. Adapting the engine electronics could be a challenge and what about the transmission? The CDI will be expecting an electronic 5-speed.
