Real world WMO results in a 602
Why? because I am tired of hearing about speculation and not real results.
I have come upon 200 gallons of waste motor oil, so I began tests. 50/50 blend after 3 tanks left me with a hard starting car and lots of blue smoke on straight diesel. new heat shields and I drove around to ensure no other damage was done, 29-31mpg easy starting blah blah. tossed in a 11 gallon fuel sell with 2x 3 way switches and I drove 1,000 miles and used 8 gallons of diesel maybe that whole time for startup/shutdown/town driving. I increased the concentration of WMO in the fuel cell till it was 100%. I would only switch over to WMO when I got on the highway and switch back when I got off. The car drove the same on the highway, maybe a tiny bit less power but then in the past week I started getting blue smoke at idle (I was lazy once or twice and didn't switch back to diesel when caught in stop go traffic). I pulled the injectors yesterday to discover not only coked up heatshiels but carbon mountain build up on the back 2 injectors. The front 3 had minimal carbon buildup (previously when pulled there was nothing beyond the ordinary) Sorry I did not take any pictures. I will do another 1,000 mile test and this time keep it below 50/50 blend on the fuel cell, ensuring my purge time is long enough to not cross contaminate the main fuel tank. When done I will post results and upon those result may heat the tank prior to switching to the WMO to see if it procures any different results- the tank I have has a coil in it but I have not run the plumbing to utilize it yet. My car has 293 Monark nozzles in the injectors and I have a theory that they are behind some of the carbon buildup. I want to try a set of 304's and then 265's depending on results.
