Add rear AC vents on w123?
Has it ever been done? I think it would be particularly awesome in a wagon where you really need to fill that big cabin with some cold (or hot) air.
Is there enough room in the tunnel to do this? I was thinking about just adding the rear vents to the tunnel with a duct to the main system and an additional 12v fan to be triggered on w/ the main blower. Could be cool, right?

It should be possible but may not be practical, in that the factory a/c system can move only so much heat out of the passenger compartment. There may not be enough room in the tunnel for an additional duct but something that is oval shaped might be made to fit.
Another option, simpler and less sophisticated, would be a small fan or two that would blow some of the cooler air in the front of the passenger compartment towards the rear. If you find something that works, post pictures. Jeremy

Will do.
I'll be hitting up the PNP this wednesday. I plan to keep an eye out for anything that may work.

I'd look at how its done on a W126 and try to copy that system.
