First Aid Box Removal

1981 300SD. I am trying to remove the first aid box to get at the fuel guage sender unit which is toast. I have searched the forums and they say to remove the two screws at the front and remove the box toward the front. My SD does not have any screws that I can see and it looks like the seat back would need to come out to get to the tank. Has anyone done this on this particular model? What am I missing here? Thanks.

the fuel sender is behind the rear seat back.. Well it is in my SDL which is just a longer SDL

the fuel sender in the W123 is below the first aid kit.

Yes, you must remove the seat back on an SD.
