Wow....looks like some people here need to be a little more adventuresome! Why drive mile-eater diesels like these cars are....if you never go anywhere? I can't imagine living my whole life and never even being outside my own state. (even though mine is pretty awesome)

You can fit three Michigans in Texas. They have a ways to go before they find another state. I'm trying to get as much road time as I can in the next few years before I get more tied down with work... or worse!

School and work are places to go, aren't they? Some of us don't have time for adventures when there's real life to be dealt with. Heck, I'm lucky some weeks if I can even get outside of Beltway 8.

You know what they say....quality over quantity.... *Flame Suit On*

I guess I just like road trips and exploring more....I think its awesome. Its all about what you do with your time/$$.....my friend and I made a whole trip to Washington DC and back a few years ago (week long trip) and spent less than $400 between the two of us. My wife and I spent a week in Florida and also spent barely $500-600 the whole trip....and that included driving 1800 miles and going to Disney World. We're Frugal!

Why take my innocent, light hearted thread and turn it into others' home state bashing?

I'm not bashing, I'm....just being an annoying Northerner. Nothing wrong with any state.

Same reason some try to tear down someone that has something nicer than them, or, has more wealth, income, freedom or whatever better than they have. Envy, that's all it is. They don't have it, so they don't want you to have it either. Simple.

My current MB diesel?

(Don't know how the coloring the state thingy works.....)

Texas
Arkansas
Oklahoma
Louisiana
Mississippi
Alabama
Florida
Georgia
Tennessee
Kentucky
Missouri
Kansas
Iowa
Nebraska
South Dakota

......my '99 E300TD's Port Of Entry from Germany was Baltimore, Maryland.....I bought it new from a MB dealer in Nebraska.......so how the car was shipped to Nebraska, I guess by covered truck transport.....so the car was in all the states from Maryland over to NE.

I need a world map. Have documented proof, (maintenance records), that the P.O. purchased the car in California, and spent about eight or nine years with it in New Zealand, then back to California.
