Tint, finally!!!
 

The SDL is going in for tint on Wednesday. I cannot wait until its done. 30% up front and 15% for the rears. Keeping it legal and I have a coupon for the place that does it... sweeet.. they quoted me a t $160 plus tax and the coupon brings it down to $120 plus tax..

Going with the 3M stuff with lifetime warranty

That should keep it cool :cool:, i need to do that too but dont know what how dark of a tint that will look good in a Grey 300SD!!!

I love the tint on my 124, as you might recall, is/was super dark...
but due to insurance costs, I had to put ohio plates, hope I don't get a ticket. been there, done that


state farm wanted 1800/yr for me...
when all 3 in ohio is 1200/6mo.
its the lovely no fault policy I tell ya ;)


anywho. I have 25 & 15.
the 15 is rather dark @ night... thats all I have to say

well I didnt wake up before 8 am so I could get it in the shop for 8:30... I was at some midnight release for a movie a bunch of friends wanted to go to and did not get home until like 4.. sooo I tried to wake up but was like. sleep or tint sleep or tin

This isn't the car that I own, but mine looks the same.

I think black or white cars look really good with tint. Whoever did mine originally did a crappy job. I'd like to get it re-done some time.

christyb, look into % regulations for your state.

also, check out my pictures. I don't have a 210 with tint, yet ;)

but there is our white SLK320 with 20% front 15% rear
&& mine with approx the same, with 14yrs of fade. still dark
