As-is, if you find someone locally I'd say $300 for a white with blue 'tex to perhaps $800 for nice colors with heated leather, condition being very good.

If someone has to ship it, probably won't get a buyer for even that, it's a parts car to most even in good condition.

If you like the car, better to fix it IMO.

Thanks babymog. Car is Diamond Blue Metallic with Gray MB-Tex. In good, but not very good condition. Sounds like ~$500 is what I should figure, right??

Diamond-blue is a good color, but $500 would be pretty good for "good" condition with a bad engine and 'tex interior (if you can find a buyer) IMO, might have to settle for closer to $300.

Thanks babymog - was hoping I could get a little more out of it. Gonna have to see what I can get a used head for. If cheap enough I think I will have to look at fixing her up. Not in the greatest of shape, but she is solid and I really do like her. These M-B diesels really grow on ya!

Agreed, they do.

Watch the junkyards for an SDL, I've seen a couple in the past year or two, always a crapshoot on heads though.
