I think it would be nice to find a park or something where there is a bit of shade. Maybe a state park at the ocean or on a lake.

Sorry, but I have been away for a few....Any definitive plans for this day and/or how many are "somewhat commited"??? If Mount Dora is @ all of interest, I can look into areas that can accomodate a gathering but would like to know how many give/take of us are interested...I've never been to one of these before, so am excited to be in the mist of 123's... Was planning an earlier trip up north, but gonna delay it to attend...thoughts??? :cool:

Me again....My Real Estate office (I am an agent, not the owner), which is @ 10th & Donnelly in downtown Mount Dora, can accomodate @ least 15-20 cars easily with streetside parking as well, and is shaded and we can have the office open w/ restrooms @ our disposal..lot's of cheap eats nearby, or can bring whatever we'd like...Or can arrange a gathering @ the Lakeside Inn on Lake Dora...

Sounds like Pierres can be a good meeting point, (I kind of want to see it too) but we should go somewhere from there. I love the Lake Dora idea, but I don't think anything is going on there, since I can find no information.

We need an activity... scenic drive, place of interest, photo-shoot spot, etc. I'm not a local, so I don't have the slightest idea. Throw out some ideas guys.

Pierre has a new oil level sender for me so I'll possibly change my oil there and install it or just do it at home

I believe I'm staying in Orlando with Colin, but I'm not sure yet.

I am gonna double check w/ the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce Tues 7/27 to confirm that nothing is going on that weekend other THAN the Rennigers Antique Fair Extravaganza! That, in it of itself, is pretty cool. Antique dealers from all over the country come here and draws 200-300k people over the course of the weekend...I'll post the confirmation one way or the other tomorrow, concerning possible boats/cars too! Meanwhile, I am posting a new Q. thread regarding replacing a shifter................

Shifter done: Check. Pic posted: Check. Called the Mount Dora C.o.C., and NO, nothing is going on that weekend! I had an old schedule of events, so all that Mt. Dora can offer is plenty of parking either in town, by the lake in MT. Dora or in Tavares by the lake. And I still have the 1/1 cottage available gratis (forget the tutorial) if someone needs bedding for the weekend..

GTG Orlando

I have decided to sell my greasecar system if anybody wants to take delivery during the GTG. I am asking $350, that includes a rectangular fuel cell, all the plumbing, filter, and a set of fattywagon injector line heaters.

I used the system for about 15k mi, everything works fine...pm for more details and any questions if you are interested.

They are selling for $1100 with the same tank now.

edit: sorry for the shameless plug, I know there is a section for this, but it would be much easier and cheaper for somebody to pick it up there.

We are meeting at Pierre's, we just need an activity to go out and do.

All I have is Lake Dora, and it seems like a fun. We can go to the museum of speed, perhaps have a tour of a multi-million dollar house, cruise around the lake and stop for a picnic lunch.

Can you hook us up on the house part, 3 Diesel?
