Assuming they really are 15 inch wheels, yes, some were made. I don't know how rare they are, we need to hear from someone more experienced in Bundtology.

Only two wheels? Yikes... it's hard enough to find these 15" Bundts let alone just a pair. They are the ARC Alurad ones though very similar to the original design.

Jeremy, you just coined a new word "bundtology"

Good picture. I can see the 7x15 "W Germany" on there.

They don't look any easier to clean than the 14's though. All the more reason to not use them if you are a clean freak (mine stay black most of the time).

I have to admit that I do like the look of them and would never change to anything else. Just because it is "original". Something about looking at older cars.... If I see an older car that has newer rims I "shrug it off" and don't really look at it much. If it has the original rims "it pulls me in" to look at it closer. Not sure how to describe it...

So, even if those are not the correct rims. They sure look it!

for the same money get a set of Ronals, much nicer look in my opinion. 15 Ronals are easier to find so probobly quite a bit less money

"Ronal" sounds like the name of a cigarette lighter

I found a set at PNP last year along with the Euro head lights on a W116.
these were about as perfect as they get for used. I let DIAMETRICALBENZ have them. and they were far cheaper than that E-Bay listing.

Now Iam looking for a set for me.

Yep.

And yep.

I chose the 15" 15 hole wheels for the SD..........improves the look dramatically over the Bundts.

Why anyone would pay big money for 15" Bundts is beyond me............??

i got Ronals on mine, click the link in my sig. i know it's not for everyone but i absolutely love the aesthetics of the 80's AMGs. i know ronals aren't AMG, but they're close and affordable. and yes, for the purests, i know my diesel isn't going to come close to the HP of a gasser AMG but i can drive it every day and it'll last longer.....

the bundts just don't do it for me but in the winter i plan on using stock wheels with matching hubcaps.....as soon as i can afford a set. that's a classic look!

Originality

But i'm with you, as if the 15 hole wheels aren't difficult enough to keep clean.... I'm been looking at a 300CD and if I get it I really do hope that i'll be able to fit 15" 15 hole wheels to it.

Mine don't have all the writing on the front side, they're actually plain looking.

This e-bay seller also has a set of Ronel R-9 wheels drilled for 5X120 (BMW).

said they can be redrilled for MB 5X112. doesn`t sound right to me.

the set of 15" Bunts we found at the PNP didn`t have the writing on the front side, they were clean.
