300SD Car Alarm keeps on going off.. Please help!

Anyone familiar with 300SD car alarms? Mine has been going off non stop since yesterday. I can't step away from the car for more then 10 minutes without it going off..

I've had to disconnect the battery just to appease the neighbors...

Take out the fuse instead.

LOL, maybe she is telling you she want to go for a ride.

this happened to my wife one time while she was driving, drove it over to the indy, and they said to lock and unlock the door, or something like that.
and it worked.

This may be too easy. Go to the trunk and lock and unlock it. Then, put the key in the ignition and turn on the lights. If it doesn't start blaring then it is "reset."

Good luck

I ended up disconnecting mine. Its under the front passenger carpet. Intention was to go back & "fix it right". 2 years & I still have other things to tend to. I don't miss it.

Disable it or take it to someone who can fix it for you. Broken alarms that go off randomly are way up there on many people's annoyance lists.

Twice on different occasions, I've had to rip out the alarm on some absentee owner's car. 1st time in Oakland, CA the cops were called and as it honked its ass off, the cops said, "We can't do anything because we would have to break in to do so." After they left, I did my civic duty. 2nd time in Mexico City a big SUV sat honking for 2 days. No cops involved there as they are next to useless anyway, so I once again did my civic duty by disconnecting a wire just behind the front bumper and all became calm. Another day later I noticed the owner trying to start the monster vehicle, but with no luck. The following day, the SUV was seen being towed away. Oops; that wire must have run through the starting circuit.
