get that baby down to the car wash and power wash the grease off the engine. Then you can find all or any of the oil leaks. Nice. I had a 76 stick years ago. Sorry I sold it now.

The 300D is driving much better then when I bought it. I have a drag link, and a set of front wheel bearings ordered. I logged 60 miles on it yesterday and itdrove great, of course AC would have been nice. I have some freon on order so hopefully I can sort out the AC issues, I was able to get the blower and compressor to engauge, but right now there is no pressure in the system.

It has yet to stall out on me again so hopefully what ever the problem was it is now fixed.

I degreased the motor yesterday with some Gunk and a pressure washer, it looks much better now. I still need to clean the wires, ::mathew told me to use some WD-40 on the metal since the degreaser dried it out.

This weekend im going to replace the horse hair in the rear seat along with the springs, I was able to find a like new set in the junkyard. I also have like new front seat pads too. I was really lucky to find nice W115 horse hair in a junkyard, this stuff was stamped September of 1996, I bet this wasn't cheap.

Nice car. Hey if anyone in the Tacoma area wants one, I have a 1976 W115 300D I will let go for parts. Let me know, we talk. If you want it, bring a tow truck and a couple of hundred bucks and it yours.

Great looking car Mercy. It should be a real gem when you finish.

The 115s are a lot of fun and still practical drivers. Congrats on bringing a good find back into shape.

Today I did some more engine cleaning, changed the tranny fluid and filter, and installed new horse hair in the rear seat.

After I installed new horse hair pads

Hey Mercy, couple of questions if you don't mind;

What is the rocker switch to the right of the ash tray above the defroster switch? Antenna control?

What kind of speakers are those in the front kick panels? Those look like a nice thin surface mount (or almost). Space is so tight in that area and those look good.

Car looks really good.

I don't mind at all. The switch is for the eletric sunroof which works. The ant switch is down near the window switches.

I have no idea about the speakers, I didn't install them. They don't work though, I need to figure out if its the radio or the speakers.

Im looking for the stock speaker boxes for the back and maybe for the front, if you have them let me know.
