86' SDL wiring help.

hi all,
A newbie question: I decided to put a manual switch(toggle) for the aux fan inside the cabin, (from the switch on the dryer [pig tails] to an ON/OFF switch) what's the easiest way to get the wires into the car, hopefully without disassembling the dash or the likes i was thinking of placing the switch instead of the power antenna switch.
thanks for any help,Eric.

There usually are some spare holes in the firewall. They will have rubber boots designed to pass multiple wires and there are always a few positions unused. Easiest way from the passenger compartment is probably to pull the glove box and operate through it. You could also run the wires into the glovebox (at the point where the latch latches) and put the switch there, hanging on its wires, well insulated. That way you wouldn't give up your antenna switch and later on, when you get the fan working correctly, you can remove the switch leaving no trace of your work.

I ll just make a small slit into the rubber neck that is behind the fuse box and feed the wire through...
