Just got a w201 turbo - what should I do first?
 

Hi guys,
Just added a w201 turbo to my growing collection of 190d's. It sure is fun to drive, its quick, stops fast.......I digress....so anyway:

What should I do first as far as maintenance, preventative or otherwise. The turbo system on this model is new to me and I am still learning. Any "head's up" would be greatly appreciated.

Every time I got a new Benz, I changed all of the fluids, packed the wheel bearings, & washed the engine.

Then just addressed important items like brakes & belts.

OF course several have needed an engine rebuild or tranny before driving.

The only thing the turbo need is clean air and clean oil. And keep your fingers out.
