Air Conditioner doesn't cool when stopped

The air conditioner in my 95 E300 with 286,000 miles won't cool when the car is not moving. Works fine when driving above 20 mph. I checked the freon and it has plenty. Any suggesitons on what to check or fix?

What are the pressures at what ambient temp? How did you determine that it is not low on refrigerant?

fused relay

check the fuse on the relay. to access it you need to remove the cover and 4 screws.

The engine driven fan plays a larger role in slow-speed a/c performance than most people give it credit for. It might be time for a new fan clutch.
