Left rear window power

The left rear window on my car does work, via the switch in the door, but not from the console.

I pulled the switch to investigate...I found the black/green striped wire was cut. I thought it was damaged from being pinched in the door...not. When I spliced the wire together, it began to get really warm. So I broke the splice.

The lock out portion in the console does keep me from using the switch on the door. The right rear window switch operates regardless of the lock out. It looks like the PO had monkeyed around with it.

Does anyone have a wire pin out guide for the switches so I can trace them?

Thanks!

Does someone mind uploading that document to this forum? I have the same problem, but am too lazy to go through the process of joining that other forum.

Thanks man! I also have to chase down a horn problem, as in they quit working. I did replace the Aux fan this weekend, and the wiring is really close to the driver side horn...

Yep, knocked a wire loose. Pass side horn is dead though. It is getting power, however.
