Freeze Plug 300D Turbo
Does anyone know how to get to the passenger side freeze plug to replace it? It is the 38mm threaded plug. I have an '83 300D Turbo. I'm pretty sure I need to remove the air filter, turbo, and exhaust manifold. If anyone knows, please email me

If it's a threaded plug, it's not a freeze plug (I think). You are probably referring to the block heater plug. If you search on 'block heater plug' I believe you will find an old thread describing how to access it thru the wheel well with the tire removed. Depending on your climate, I would replace the plug with a block heater, rather than another plug if possible.
