Under the seat? Hmmm....lots of change. I mean LOTS of change. Some cars....I can't believe it. Dimes and pennies seem to be the most frequent, I guess because a dime is so small and a penny.....well, to a lot of people a penny is not worth it. I don't like ANYTHING under my seats. Back seat of Coda there was a puddle of spilled Coke a Cola --- sticky, googy. Under the back seat of Elegant Madame was a lot of dog hair -- the PO had 2 big dogs that rode in the backseat.

I always find ink pens and receipts for dry cleaning.

I removed the front seats over the weekend to free up the stuck height adjusters...I found under the carpets, $2.72 in change, a picture of the PO's kid, and some 22 cent stamps showing the state of New Jersey in 1887.

i had almost $20 in my 240D (1 $5 bill)
random cigars
an open Magnum pkg (the rest wasn't in the car.....)
I quickly steam cleaned everything

discovered the PO smoked so much, it wasn't worth his time to clean out the ashtray, so I found a another one from the center console under the pass seat....

i probably removed of 200+ buts

About 3 weeks after I spent 85$ to have a local locksmith cut me ones that fit the doors & trunk. The ignition switch had been changed and the PO never locked the doors. The keys I got only fit the ignition
I unfortunately didn't live out in the boonies like the PO and needed to lock up the car!!

Found under the seat

A quarter, a mouse nest woven from wool felt from under the gear shifter, a dozen peanut and acorn shells from the mouse, chewed up pieces of plastic, thousands of white dog hairs, beach sand, a round plastic token and a short black wooden dowel.

I found a pair of glasses, some Taco Bell hotsauce packets and almost $7 in change (including removing the rear seat).

Funny thing is, I spent $100 for the car, so the $7 was basically returning 7% of the purchase price back to me. Not too shabby. I was even able to get my power seats working when I hooked everything back up.
