Mercedes Diesel in Germany
check these prices out. Most of the cars are low miles too. People dont drive them as much in europe, and take better car of them on the average.

Its cool that they have the 4 matic diesel w124 model there too. Would be nice to have that in the Northeast winters.

This is my favorite so far. The thing has barley over 100k on it. And it costs a 100 euro. Plus its a 5 spd

Paper Papers
I was amazed that I rarely in Germany ever saw a "beater" car. A local there told me the german officials are REAL tough on the yearly inspections.
Got a big dent in your fender?-FAIL (the dent has undermined the structal intergrity of the car making it unsafe) A window not roll up/down? FAIL (how will a passenger get out if door is jammed in an accident-unsafe) List goes on and on-the Germans do not F around |
Cars in Germany are cheap once they get older, because they can't pass TUV. It gets too costly to keep older cars in compliance, ... they sell them to people in other countries.

I like this one best so far
