A screw loose, or a lost screw...
Well, I did it again. This time I managed to lose the small pan head screw that holds the chrome surround piece on the driver's door release handle.
Does any one know the size of it? I'm going to Auto Zoo or O'Reilly's to get some replacements. Thanks!

Assuming you're describing your Mercedes --
In my '85 300D-T (W123, OM617), behind the black plastic cover, there's a flat-head (not pan head) screw that attaches the chrome surround of the door-open lever. It is 8mm long, 4mm in diameter, and has a 0.7mm (coarse) pitch. Jeremy
