I do have a flapper pipe for it but it is only 2.5in diameter and looks horrible. Tractor Supply sells up to a 6in flapper and everything in between. I just need to find adapters to make it up to the bigger diameter and still stay below the hood line.

As far as the rain and everything, I have a Mobil 1 gear lube quart container with the spout cut off that fits perfectly for say when I'm parked over night. When I'm driving though, the exhaust force doesn't allow anything to go in. I wanna cut the stack flat and have a bull hauler tip welded on, sanded down and painted flat black to match. Bull haulers FTW!

To tell the truth I kinda like having some black smoke out the back of my car when I nail it, it really pisses off tailgaters and prius drivers Leaving my so called "carbon footprint" everywhere I go hehehe

Ah, looks good! I mean everyone, to each his own. Everyone gets off on different stuff. The car looks great. Its nice to see a younger kid involved in the diesel way of life, my point is at least he's not one of those turboed vtec honda punks (i'll try not to interject my opinion like that again ) Bottom line, nice car, nice mods, and definately one of a kind.

The Germans must have had it wrong. Nothing like a little backyard engineering.

that just looks dumb. i mean i admire you for your creativity. but not on one of these cars. a truck maybe. but a sedan.

just don't go chopping up anymore of these cars. some us here are purists and perfer to keep these cars in original condition.

and about the black smoke thing. black smoke is not power, its just wasted fuel. most power is right before the black smoke point.

Hmmmm.....interesting.

I agree that black smoke is not ideal, nor will it endear anyone to the old MBZ's either.

Whay not add dual exhaust with electric cutouts that are hidden??? I cannot help but think cylinder scavenging would be improved with full-length exhaust...Robert

AWESOME!!!!

I think it looks great. It would look better with a 3 inch lift, some 33's, and a Confederate flag decal on the hood. Oh, almost forgot, don't forget the Calvin pissing on someone sticker

I still think a flapper would be better than leaving it open, junk can still blow down in there even with a rear-ward facing outlet.

i would put a one way swing gate in the down pipe. this way you don't lose the look and nothing can get down there either.
