Well, at least hoods and exhaust systems are replacable.

So, how does it pass an inspection?

I don't think Ohio has inspections....neither does MI.......glad I'm not in Texas.

I'm glad we have safety inspections. Helps to keep the non road worthy vehicles off the road. Now, non road worthy drivers is a different matter!

Rust usually takes care of that on its own up here.

No inspections here.

I'm gunna put some wire screen down by the turbo end of it so it will keep big stuff out.

Road Warrior

I have to say I like it in a "Road Warrior" sort of way. My "inner red neck" thinks that you should raise it 2 or 3 inches and add tube bumpers to it. You should post some pix of it running or driving!

Big stuff is not your issue, that'd get blasted out as soon as you start it....its the rain and snow/moisture that's not good....hence the flapper.

Amazing to think that the turbines are going over 50,000rpm under boost....pretty crazy.
