That article about the 300D is harsh! It pretty much rips the W123 to shreds vs the W126.....I do agree with a lot of what it says, especially the small price difference between them.....but the W123 is an excellent car too....however, not an S-class.....

Funny how the W123 article from 1981 was right on the dot when they predicted that the W123's successor wouldn't come out until 1986.

No one believed me,when I told them I got 32 to 37 mpg,with a 2:47 rear end.
