Sweet ... my friends (girls and guys) are all pretty stereotypical when it comes to cars. I'm the only weirdo. Good thing I have this forum to come to.

Yeah, I always hate it when I see an interesting car (or interesting guy ... or interesting guy in an interesting car) in traffic, because there's not really a convenient or classy way to get someone to pull over. There should be a universal hand signal for "Great car, wanna grab a coffee?" because yelling it across three lanes of traffic when you're going 65 mph doesn't usually have a strong effect.

Never had that happen in any of my Benz's, I think because there are so many of them out here in Cali. But in my TDI, more then a few times. I am sure that will decrease as more new TDIs are coming to Cali.

There's a member here who has a daughter at my old college with a mint 300D....I've seen her around town with it with her friends (I don't live far from the school)....aside from my brother, she's the only person at the whole school with a W123. For a while there was someone with a wagon, but they've since moved on.

After that incident I figured out a way actually....keep one of those metal coffee mugs and lean over with a James Bond nod of acknowledgment (3:03 ) Sadly though I lost the mug a few years ago....
