Vacuum Help
Hey guys, Im looking for Vacuum Transducer, recirculating air valve and for Vacuum Transducer, exhaust gas recirculation. Because for some reason one of them broke and i need to replace it. Btw, how to tell between the two?
I cant find this part... maybe some of you guys know where to buy one? P.S. If you dont know what im talking about, then look on the Vacuum Diagram for 300DT 124 chassis and look for part name Y31 and Y31/1.

Neither the EGR nor the ARV are necessary (or even recommended) for proper operation of the '87 300D, it is my suggestion that you BB the vacuum lines to both.

They're under the air cleaner behind the right headlight... where there's an empty space in many of these cars You can tell which is which by tracing the vacuum lines to the EGR valve and ARV. Or by comparing wire colors to the wiring diagram.
If you don't know where they are, how do you know they're broken? In all my years hanging out here I've never heard of one breaking... or in use Sixto 87 300D |

There's a 5-way vacuum fitting by the upper radiator hose. The bottom fitting goes to the vacuum pump. 2 side fittings go towards the driver side of the engine for transmission and ACC vacuum. 2 side fittings go towards the passenger side headlight for EGR and ARV. We're saying it wouldn't be the end of the world if a couple of ball bearings fell into the fittings that go towards the passenger side headlight. Happens all the time around here.
