gasket

One of the things you are wondering about is a gasket but I can't tell which it is because it's folded up in a bag. If you lay it out and take a picture I can try. If it's a door one it will have an oval loop on one side. They are different between the front doors and back doors. Each front door gasket has six holes back door gaskets have five.

I know this is not a for sale thread but can you think about selling me rear seatbelts? The black part where they attach to the body on mine are rusted. In that same box is the black bar and plastic thing that attaches the front seats to the body. I would be interested in the one for the passenger seat. Thanks!

Do you have a emergency triangle which fits under the deck lid of a 300d/300sdl?

Turn signal stalk/switch for 85 300D? (wipers will not work on intermit)

How about any euro "oval" tags? (want one for the front of the Benz)
Thanks,
Hip

So when's the get together at Tylers house??? I'll bet many would show up...course he'd have to hire a security guard to prevent inventory shrinkage....I'll bring the hot dogs (and a panel truck)

The raised hood thing I find a bit creepy. For those that didn't read the original thread, the guy Tyler bought the parts from, keeps all 3 of these cars with their hood open for cooling purposes

Avoiding heat soak seems like a perfectly reasonalbe thing to do in hot weather. When you stop running in hot weather all the air flowing normally will stop and the heat captured in the exhaust system and cooling system is trapped with noplace to go excpet soak into the rubber parts etc.

I do it especailly when I am on the road in the summer towing my trailer, but when just driving too.

The opening of the hoods is still weird. It almost seems like this fellow might have a significant case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Hording of parts....opening of hoods....yeah.

Anyways, that is a HUGE amount of stuff. It just goes to show that, if you horde that much stuff, you will most likely still have most of it at the end of your life or when you stop driving a car that uses the parts. I have a pretty big inventory of stuff....but I don't think I'd want to go that far.

I might have to buy some of those things from you if the prices are right!
