small radiator top hose, and windshield wiper Q's

On my 83 300d turbo a previous owner has busted off the nipple for the line that goes from the reservoir to the top of the radiator. The radiator is a Behr, so i would like to keep it. I have picked up a 1/8 npt nipple with a 3/8" hose connection. I am planning on tapping the radiator and putting this in place, i might use some epoxy or something to make sure the seal is good. I plan on removing the radiator, and flushing it out really well after tapping. Any comment?
Alright, so the second part of my questions, the entire wiper mechanism was taken off my car, I have put the linkages back on, and bolted up, it moves freely, and seems to be in good shape. The motor had its electrical connector at the firewall taken completely apart. I have one plastic piece that fits on the engine side of the firewall, but it seems like there should be something on the other side towards the cowl. also, i have no idea what the orientation of the wires in that connection should be.
Thanks for any help
Andrew

I hate to bump, but does anyone have more information on the wiring for the windshield wiper motor? A diagram of that connection ( i am assuming that there are two black pieces around the wiring that i am completely missing) would be very helpful too.

Quick steel for your broken nipple

I've had a problem like that a few times and used this two part clay stuff.
one brand is JB Weld Quick Steel. They have an aquatic version that's tate to 325 F. If you clean and scuff the two parts good it will last a long time.

Sounds hokey, but the stuff works great on just about any surface.

All I can find is a plug on the end of wires coming from the motor.

As I remember from removing and cleaning up the wiper motor/linkage compartment. once you have the wiper motor mounted, turn the plug sidewise and shove it through the hole into the engine compartment. (Item # 16/18 in above pic) Then to mount it into the hole, turn it flat side towards the firewall, and snap it into the hole. there some tangs on the back side that snap over the edge of the hole.

then there should be a female plug in the wiring harness on the firewall side to plug into it.

HMMM, I just reread your first post, you are saying someone took the plug apart and pulled the wires out?

EDIT:

Ipulled the wiper motor plug apart, and looking a the face of the plug (pin side with wire harness in from bottom) it is numbered 6, 4, 2 on the left side, & 5, 3, 1 on the right side

1) black
2) yellow
3) brown
4) green
5) blank
6) white
