That's not green

I've never liked that teal color. Now I've seen a couple REALLY
green w123 cars. I didn't like the color at first, but just like my CLK wheels, it is something that grows on you until nothing else is OK.
I'd LOVE a truly green wagon. That dark non metallic green, with
a palamino interior. I've grown to like my black car, but did not at first.
Anybody have a picture of a dark green wagon they could post? Pretty
please.

Power Pig had a dark green Euro Wagon. I'm sure he's got pics around somewhere. I know there are some posted from one of the GTG's we had.

Someone chime garaged... shiny... teal?

I have seen a good number of petrol 123 sedans, a few 123 petrol coupes, but I wonder if there are any 123 petrol estates in the forums?

SLOW RIDE's twin That is just too cool.

As for the show in Davies......may be possible, but most
likely not.

Interesting how the color looks a little different in each picture. I like the color very much, especially on coupes.

Is this color different than the later cars, such as 124 and late 126 teal? I remember one time when my mother had a loaner car for a couple days in 88 or 89. It was a 300E that was Teal with Parchement leather. Seems to me that it was a little lighter.

In those days Teal had not been overdone yet, but looked new and fresh still. My mom called the color "Sea Foam Green", and it must have really reminded her of the sea, because I remember the first thing we did after picking up the car was go out to a waterfront restaurant in Seattle. The Valet parked the car out front, and later, when we came out, it had been joined by an SL in the same color combination. It drew more admiring stares than my Anthracite 300SD. I guess, soot belching luxury cars with 14 in Bundts were beginning to seem
passé.

Currently Volvo has a similar color called Orinoco Blue. A little bluer, but in some light it looks almost the same.

While we're talking greenish, I'm also a fan of Mercedes Spruce. I thought it looked especially nice on 124 wagons.

Yes, Brandon... blue-green metallic was available on 124s and 126s as well.
I have personally seen two 124s and Mark's 300SDL (Hip001's which is currently for sale) in this color.

Since it's metallic, the color varies per angle and light present.
For example, in bright sunlight it has a pastel-teal effect while at night it tends to show a touch of darker blue-green hue.
It appears a little different in photographs as well, including different types of cameras used.

That's the beauty of this particular metallic color I guess but at the end of the day, it's still teal.

Elegant Madame (my first true love Mercedes) was that color. I never considered it green.
