Yes, its rough, but I know there are others who just enjoy looking at the Green ones :D |
Rusty Junk
But it looks like a great parts car....
I like green too ! my monitor must be screwy as it looks like the standard grey so many Coupes were painted . |

Eh, a fresh coat of paint, some body work at the rust spots, and a nice detailing job, and it'd be in excellent shape! I like the coupes. |
More precisely, it's Blue-Green Metallic or "Petrol" (code 877)
I think these pics show the telltale detrimental results of installing fender chrome trim... it's such an invitation for cancer. :( http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/a...cture120-1.png http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/a...cture121-1.png http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/a...cture119-1.png http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/a...cture122-1.png Oh, and it's the same color as my coupe! :D http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/a.../DSC_09731.jpg |
Blue-Green Metallic or "Petrol" don't count as green. Today it is called Teal, and it ain't green. {apologies to Ol' Turbo and Joes 300D}
|
^ As Jim exclaimed, it is teal please. :)
And it's not the same as turquoise! :D Back to Blue-Green Metallic  http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/a...c55a2606-1.jpg |
Yes, thanks for the respect. Ol' Turbo has been through so much, and now you call him green?
http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/g...0/DSC02032.jpg I must admit, the color did take some adjusting to. The day it came out of the paint shop though, I fell in love. |
It would be nice looking car, too bad it has the ultimate deal-breaker--rust!
|
I've been talking to Bob about this car.. Could be saved, since the floors are solid. I doubt sedan 1/4's are the same as coupes, I'd cut mine off to save this one. Not sure how easy coupe 1/4's would be to find.

Says originally a FL car. It looks like it lived near the ocean. I am surprised that the paint on the hood is scorched from the sun but the dash does not have any cracks. The owner must have used a sun shade and left the windows cracked open. The description lists leather seats but they look like MB Tex to me.
That is one of my favorite colors and it looks great on a coupe. With the rebuilt engine (hope it was a good job), if that car was going for cheap, like under $1,500, and if I had any more room, I would bid on that car in a heartbeat. I think I'll watch to see what it sells for. |
If it has MB Tex seats, they were probably replacement. It is the
same year/color as my coupe, but has the Palamino interior where mine has Quartz. The Petrol does look nice on these cars though.....Yesterday, I got hailed on I-95 in Ft. Lauderdale by 2 guys wanting to know if I wanted to sell it..........Let's make a Deal at 70mph:D |

Too bad that e-bay CD has so much rust. Did live in NY, so that equals salt. looking at the engine compartment would scare me away from it, let alone the rust through in the sheet metal. The rust you see is bad enough, it is the rust you don`t see . Charlie |
GOOFY FOR GREEN
I saw "true" green coupe with GREEN interior for sale about a year and a half ago. I LOVED the color combo, but unfortunately it made this one on Ebay look cherry.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the green ones, but not too many around...esp. with the green interior |

The Tower Shops car show takes place 6-10 p.m. Fridays at 1986 S. University Drive in Davie. It costs $2 to park, $5 if the car is for sale. But MBCA pays for your parking fee if you drive-in a Mercedes-Benz, so it's free for you. Membership is not required neither. It's open for all car and MB enthusiast. One more plug for blue-green 123s :D http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...s/DSC_1258.jpg http://i985.photobucket.com/albums/a...DSC_1404-1.jpg |
