If it is not a Hydraulic Lifter Issuer and not an Injector Issue what is left?

There is a bunch of things that were done in this thread that cured multiple air leak problems.
A Question for the Injection "Masters"

Or, as previously stated by WINGAS do a compression check.

Once I got my head around spending some time at it it was easy. I removed the air filter collar from the "power valve housing" then removed the 4 bolts holding that to the block. The EGR tube is flexible enough to push the housing enough to free the collar with the 2 big O rings. There's one bolt holding the cross over tube on the intake manifold side and 2 on the bracket on the air filter side. There are a lot of bolts on the intake manifold but they aren't difficult to remove. The intake manifold gasket is pretty husky so if you remove the manifold carefully you can re use it. Takes about 20 minutes after you've done it once. Keep an eye on the vacuum lines while removing and installing.
