Got my CCU unit out - but??
Evening,
I've got my CCU on the table with the bottom off where I can see the circuit board. I can't see anywhere where I can separate the box anymore to get the board out. I've tried to pry it out, but seems like something is holding it down. With a flash light I can see what looks like another board underneath the exposed board. It looks like the push buttons might be holding the boards in there. I tried to pull one of the buttons off and it would not come off. Also, I removed the climate wheel thinking that that might release something - but no. . What in the world could be holding those boards in there? Sure would appreciate any help. O, yes, I'm trying to flow solder because the CCU just has not been working right. Hugh, Sr. |

They might be pretty much the same if they're from the mid 80's.
This link might help. It's a good one I found in one of the other recent CCU posts. http://w123maintenance.blogspot.com/2007/10/automatic-climate-control-unit-repair.html

There may be on the two long sides a tab or three you can wedge out, good luck.
