I want to lube the sunroof on my 210 but have searched and not found anything specific. Found several posts on the 124 though. Are they done the same way? Does the roof need to be taken out/apart to lube it? Anyone found a lube substitute for the MB stuff($)?

AFAIK the same. Any lubricant will do in a pinch but long term only the factory grease (available in small quantities from FastLane) will do.

So I have to at least partially disassemble the sunroof the lube it? Seems difficult. What about the rails you can see when the roof is open, they need anything?
