License plate missing w124

My front plate was missing this morning and im wandering if the front plastic plate on the w124 front bumper comes off easily.

The bumper plate , lic frame and plate was missing, i see holes for like screws in there i didnt even know existed, i guess that comes off to allow for the european plates to fit.

yes, it comes off for euro plates, or there's one with an indent in it for the US plates (prolly also fits japan and other small plates with the same or different plate holder), or there's a license plate 'delete', which is the plastic peice like the one you have, which deletes the license plate holder and makes the front bumper a uniform shape, while retaining the ambient temp gauge option

If the metal strip is missing (the top of the center piece hooks over it), you'll need that also.

Easy to steal and might be on another vehicle that will be used in a crime. I'd report the plate as stolen ASAP.
