w123 1977 300d transmission replacement

The transmission in my 77 300d is on its last leg and is leaking from every seal. A pretty good deal has come to my attention for a w123 1983 300 turbo diesel that has a recently rebuilt transmission

Would the transmission just switch over nicely?
