I just acquired an '85 300 D T - sort of a silver with a tan/beige tinge. Bought it on Friday night, then drove it 300 + miles 2 days later to the beach. Gotta love a car with 265,000 miles on it that provides that much confidence in a taking a 5 hr road trip!

While I was there, I saw an '83 300 Cd Turbo with 189K. Lady was the second owner. She was asking $7500. A little on the high side for me, but she says "when it coughed, I fixed her..." Ah...the comradarie of MB diesel ownership!
