e300 Look at all this stuiff i have done :)

Hey guy i recently have went over my 93 e300 deisel with a fine tooth comb. I have sent many nights ready post on how to do diffrent things that need done on these cars. Here is a samll list of some of the things i have done, new engine wiring harness, new starter, all new seals on fuel pump, new injectors, new rubber houses, new fuel hoses and had all of intake dipped. Well when i started this car woundlnt run now i can get her started atleast but when its running its missing alot and i get alot of white smoke out the exhaust. i did notice i have some fuel in my fuel hoses still i have put arrows on the 2 hoses that have no fuel in them and circled some that have air pockets. I was hopping someone could take a look at the picture and maybe tell me a few steps i missed. I have alot of unleaded exp but i have a limited amount on deisel.

Thats a 606. You've got air from the start of delivery (fuel thermo in cyl head) all the way through to the end (delivery to the IP).

You'll need to start at the beginning and do them all again. Make certain you hear or feel a double click of each line seating. Both hooks on the fuel line must slip past the shoulder/flange it attaches to.

Here is a diagram of the fuel path. http://bp3.blogger.com/_p71v9ofBM6w/R5ZR4hrNUFI/AAAAAAAAAIQ/XCBQ40qtPDQ/s1600-h/fuelflow.JPG

It looks like at least one of your white horseshoe spreaders/clips is pushed closed. That is only done for removal, once installed they should all be pulled back so they are loose and floopy.

*edit* You say you have no fuel in two lines. Start with the fuel thermo and prefilter line. Did you check to see if you ahve an oring beneath the plastic fuel filter to seal it to the metal housing? A new pre filter doesnt come with that oring and sometimes newbies through that one away inadvertently.

*edit2* the fuel thermo is also where you have the white horse shoe clip pushed closed. Loosen it and reseat that line.
