300D occasional stalling
Every now and then I have experienced stalling when starting off from a light. It happens when I've been idling a while at the light and when trying to accelerate it simply flutters and has even died on one incident. I've tried flooring the car and it just seemed to sputter. I've changed the filters and it didn't make a difference. It's fully warmed up when it happens, though once it happened not long after starting on a slightly cooled off period. I think I have been running the A/C during most every incident.
Otherwise it runs great. No other problems and it has plenty of power going down the road. The idle is set at about 700 RPMs in neutral and I have a manual transmission. I was wonder if the rack damper adjustment may have something to do with it. It's still original as far as I know and the engine has about 154K on it.

Probably not the RD bolt, anything over 1000 rpm, it should smooth out.
When was the primer pump replaced?

Yes I replaced the primer pump about 10K miles ago with a good used one. It's the updated type. It doesn't leak either.
It actually idles very smoothly at the 700 RPM that it's set at.
