going from single belt to twin belts on euro td

Ok so i scored a twin belt pulley for the alternator and one for the water pump, now i look at my crank pulley and i guess i need to change that as well?
I pulled the 1st two pieces from a 617 engine on a w126 83 300sd, can i use a crank pulley from a 84 300d?
Do i need a puller to get that baby out?
Thanks

I would have used the single belt system getting the required alternator pulley off a 240 D or older non turbo up till 1981 300d. Not advisable to disturb the harmonic balancer unless required to change a seal. If you do change the harmonic balancer make sure to locktite the bolts with blue lock tight. The balancers have been known to come loose. This can cost you a crankshaft.
