I know its your car, but... I have a new hood star and grill badge I'm selling for cheap in the parts forum. Then you can re-shoot. As for the clear corners, again, its your car.

clears aren't for everyone or every car--you can only pull them off on certain colours. light metallic blau is one of those. i'd of gotten smoked corners if they were available--i couldn't find any when i was looking. i'll pm you for hood star

That was where my first serious girlfriend lived.Sure would like to see what she looks like now.
The grill I just don't know about. I really like the euros and clears as that
is what I have. Hmm just can't warm up to the grill.

The grill is kinda ugly, and muffler is way too huge. Otherwise its a very nice car! And get a hood star on there!

I have to agree. Normally I'd be down for a cool chromed grill, but something just doesn't look quite right about that one. As for the clears, it doesn't look too bad, I prefer the colored. It would look better if the rears were clear too, but I'm not sure if that's legal.

I have a pair of in-pro clear tail lights on my 190e. I shaved off the red lens insert and the amber lens insert for the brake lights and turn signal lights, and replaced them both with silver vision red and silver vision amber bulbs.

They look totally clear now (not crystal clear but regular clear). I think they're nicer than the hella ones with the colored reflectors built in. Of course that car is arctic white, so it matches the color scheme.

For the w123, I have never seen clear tail lights--only red and clear, and I don't really like those, because the clear part I believe is crystal, and the crystals turn yellow from sun exposure.

except that the muffler is exactly the same size as the original Gillet muffler that came from the factory (MB part number 123 491 71 01), which i spent a couple hours searching for a direct replacement for...

Time for a new muffler for the w123 300dt

if you think it's too big though, you can always call 1-800-367-6372 and ask for Dr. Z and give him your advice

A stock W123 muffler does not show/hang down like that.....they are not so visible.....and the way the exhaust exits the back of the car is different. It may be the same size, but it might not be the same shape, or tucked up as high as it should be.

incorrect once again. the original muffler is black, so it's obviously not as visible as a steel magnaflow. if you actually read the thread that I linked to, i've got the sizes of the original muffler and of the magnaflow--almost exactly the same in every appreciable respect--even the original exhaust hangers were used, and the muffler is perfectly horizontal. so your claim that it isn't 'tucked up as high' is purely a visual illusion created by the color of the muffler and the angle of the picture I took.

anyways guys, there you have it--a shabby old w123 in a nice neighborhood, pending a new hood star and emblem from james tiberius tyler.

The fins are not "tapered" to the center and therefore look "flat".
