1993 W124 300D Interchangeable Engine Fans
My fan and clutch disintegrated recently and took out my radiator in the process so, I have purchased a new clutch but I can't find a good used fan.
The fan I have now has a chunk missing out of one of the blades(mid-blade, no less) so I don't trust it to stay together or to be balanced enough to protect the new water pump I just installed. If I can't find a direct replacement, is there a fan from another model that will bolt on the the OEM clutch? I already discovered that the W124 gassers' fan/clutch rotates the opposite direction so that isn't an option. Any suggestions?

It all depends on which clutch you bought.
SOME people are going to the OM606 clutch and fan blade (Cheaper and the Fan blade is plastic...Less weight and mass for the WP bearing to support)

Part number: 603 200 0022. I bought the clutch before it all disintegrated and damaged my fan. I had intended to reuse the original fan so I ordered the OEM fan clutch. I am having a very hard time locating a used replacement for the fan, though.
