Could have gotten a speeding ticket!



update on my car:ive been driving it since i bought it to my commute to work and back had put a new alternator, new motor mounts,new fuel filters,ps filter, valve adjustment camshaft looked amazingly clean for the age possibly newer, oil change, old oil filter and oil screen was stained dark black and gunked up from years?? of not being changed, shocks all around,after first week of driving it slave cylinder went out on me so now has a new oe one in there clutch working great.. i purchased the fast glow kit yet havent installed it yet glow system works fine just gotta hold the handle out for 10-15 seconds before you can start it and all this and i still havent put any fuel in since the day i bought it...some more pics

Cool...... How much pedal did you have left?

All things considered that rust does not look too bad. How is it underneath?

I remember having a Volvo 164 2 door that had one of those speedo's. Only it was mounted horizontal and it had a little red flag you could move around (slide back and forth). I should have kept that damn car...

A question: In picture #1 - below the oil pressure indicator...What is that indicator - "GL ST FL" ?

GL, ST, FL, id like to know the same thing i know one of them is my battery light other than that no idea

rust isnt horrible, only one door is missing the complete bottom, the floors had some holes but po redid them from the top so i must fill in the bottom..didnt have much pedal left after that top speed is supposed to only be 81 i think i can get to 81 going downhill..i can actually hit 80 but i have to have the pedal to the floor for about 2 minutes on even grade..


also forgot to add i rechaged the a/c system and have cold blowing a/c now
