valves, turbo, CCV, Wastegate, Boost, oil leak!

I adjusted the valves today. All the exhaust valves were very tight and needed to be loosened. The intakes were all ok except for the #5 cylinder. Its like the hardest part of the adjustment was putting the stupid cover back on!

There is a fitting on the bottom that allows the oil from the turbo to return to the pan. I have a leak there. What do I need to replace here to stop the leak?

On the top of the output of the turbo there is a hose that runs to a can looking thing under the turbo attached to the exhaust housing. Is that the wastegate? Really, are these injectors big enough to even come close to over bootsing? Can the wastegate be bypassed and kept closed? I know the OBS fords don’t have a wastegate and I am going to put a non wastegated housing on my truck as soon as I take it all apart.

I also put on a ERG bypass. I can not believe all the junk in the EGR and the junk in the intake hole. I am almost tempted to take the whole intake off to clean it!

There is a TON of oil in my intake. I cleaned it up as best as I could. I like the idea of having a CCV filter/separator on there but it looks like mine is no longer working like it should. Looks like there are 2 clips on it. Is there any cleaning or service that needs to happen on this? Does not look like it wants to come apart easily.

I also cleaned the ALDA bolt like diesel giant talks about and mine was probably 80% clogged. Cant wait to see if there is any difference.

I am going to hook up a boost gauge to the car and see what kind of boost I am seeing. Any idea how much I should see on my car? I also have a spare EGT gauge I think Ill hook up just to see what the numbers are I am seeing. What should I see there?

Got a fun day ahead tomorrow too with the car and some messing with the truck!

12 PSI @ WOT for boost, and roughly 1150 - 1250 deg EGT Fahrenheit PRE TURBO
