Vertical Button Style Climate Control Vacuum Failure ??
Can anyone confirm that their vertical button style climate control panel
has had a vacuum leak/failure and has had to repair or replace this panel ? These are the 70's through 1980 Auto Temp II version that uses the AC servo under the hood. My 1980 appears to be leaking vacuum at the vertical button unit. I will replace the button panel if need be. Hoping someone is familiar with this and can advise. At almost 30 years old and 311800 miles I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Any thoughts. When I vacuum pump the main line going into the panel it holds zero. The line under the hood is Green with yellow stripe. This provides vacuum to the vertical button panel. I disconnected it at the panel and tested it there. Bummed. Panel removal requires center console removal. But, would like to have AC again, and soon it will be time to provide heat. Thanks everyone in advance.

Do you have a picture of the part you will send ?
I just got mine out. What a rotten job. If yours do not leak then I am interested.
