Glo plug woes!

I have a 1976 300D. She's looking great sitting in the garage, but I can't get her started. By process of elimination we think it has to do with the glo plug...according to my Mercedes parts book the part number is 0035428317 and it is called " ready to start sender unit.. I have tried all the "normal" places to find it and have come up empty, anyone have any thoughts that might help? I'm really missing her

No glow plug light? check the bulb
no power to all plugs, check the glow plugs themself

Do you hear a click when you turn the key?

You have series plugs if they are original. One bad plug will cause them all not to function. You need to check each plug and check the system for voltage coming to the plug nearest the firewall.
