Need light bulb numbers...
I fixed the circuitboard on the instrument cluster (under the oil/temp). I put the dash together and wired it back in place - looks like ONE of the cluster lights is working but the other one is off. CHecking the schematic it looks like they are in parallel, so the bulb must be bad.
Does anyone have the right part number for the two bulbs that illuminate the instrument cluster from above? I know I've seen them on this sight, but I can't find the right thread now.. Thanks, James

You can get the part number from EPC, the Mercedes Electronic Parts Catalog. A subscription for USA-residents is free. http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/welcome.jsp

Its also interesting that you started this thread, my car started having the same issues the other day, only its even more puzzling. The fuse was clearly blown but even after replacing it, everything else worked but only for 2 days, the fuse blew again. The rheostat has been bypassed for a few years now. I replaced the cluster with a donor cluster I pulled from another car and it to doesn't light up. Any ideas?
