Those bolts are standard metric size - nothing special. Any decent hardware store should have them.

Consider buying Allen head bolts. Makes stripping them harder.

Any decent hardware store will have them. Your best choice is an Ace hardware or an independent. Home Depot et al are good at deer in the headlight stares but that's about it.

If you lived in Memphis, I'd let you pick a few decent ones for free. I've stopped hoarding them. Shipping though is probably more than if you bought them at the hardware store.

The heads might protrude a bit too high for this application............and the slider won't clear them.

Never heard of a reverse drill bit. Can you get them at a normal store like Pep Boys or Sears or just on line?

Maybe I wasn't clear. The bit is called a left hand and is a little hard to find. I got mine from Harbor Freight. You put these in a reversible drill set for reverse to match the left hand pitch.
