Aux. Fan not working...Any thoughts?
My Aux. Fan on my 1984 300 DT is not coming on. Does anybody out there have the answer to this one? Any answers to this would be greatly appreciated.

Mine turned out to be a dead fan. With the ignition switch in the "run" position, jumper the wires at the drier, and see if the fan comes on. If not unplug the fan and check for voltage at the plug. If no voltage, check the relay that is on the driverside fender and check the fuse.
Remember that fan is controlled by freon temps at the drier. That temp switch can go out as well.

I figured out the problem. The plug that comes off of the aux. fan to the power was all distorted like it was heated up and covered with grime. I cut the two ends off and put on new connectors, plugged them together and now the fan works perfectly. Easy fix and A/C works great!
